Pours an amber with copious white foam and plenty of fine effervescence. Head resolves with some good, fine lingering lacing.
Smells of vanilla, biscuits, cake, some citrus notes, clove.
Taste is sweet notes forward, vanilla, biscuit with a bitter twang mid note and somewhat lingering sweetness, bit of a herbal note .
Mouthfeel is medium, good carbonation and fairly clean finish.
My go to for solid belgian tripel - good representative of the style - tasty

L- A rich amber, miniscule haze + mininscule sediment left in bottle. Poured into a thistle shaped beer glass with a nucleation point (etched logo inside that triggers release of CO2 => head), and this has formed a pillowy off-white one. Head holds well, lacing formed down sides.
S- Just some mild spices for me.
T- Woah!!! I've had a few Belgian beers of similar ABV this week that didn't seem to have much ABV% impact at all. But this one it's there RIGHT at the front of the 1st sip. This is pungent, liquor-ish even with it's ABV%-zing. Grainy/bready spicy + big C2H5OH. A little to the richer/sweeter side of what I'd call perfect for me.
F- Pungent, well into the slow-sipping winter warmer zone. It has the richness in parallel to balance this and this treads a fine line between rich >< getting over towards 'sweet'.
O- It's very nice! It's BIG, it's impactful and for me one I couldn't hurry too much. There is zero out of place or balance I note here and I'd happily enjoy an occasional one of these in future. It's perhaps rather too full-on (I'm retired) for me to be drinking beasts like this frequently!
Bought from BeersOfEurope (UK). 330ml bottle BB: 05/06/2023.
ps lable unchanged from that shown above, as at time of writing.

330 ml. bottle. HGazy orange colour, with a head that fades too soon, though it leaves some lace. Fruity smell with some spices, nothing special. Medium body, smooth palate. Taste of fruits, spices, and some honey. Very standard, I could have one some other time, but I'm not really longing for it.

Bottle: Poured a deep golden color ale with a huge pure white head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of Belgian malt with some light spices which may include white pepper. Taste is a well balance mix between some semi-sweet Belgian malt, spices and light yeasty finish. Body is quite full with some excellent carbonation and no alcohol was detected. Nothing earth shattering to be found here but very good in any case.

Appearance: An enticing brown-orange color sporting a foamy, snowy-white head that retains lustily.
Smell: Sweet apricot aromas, with malty, cereal-like, accents. Subtle, floral hops provide a nice background zest in the nose.
Taste: Rich, doughy bread with a distinct citrusy sweetness. A dab of orange marmalade on some fresh-from-the-oven biscuits captures an aspect of this beer's taste. A fresh hoppiness balances the brew out at the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, with some invigorating fizziness. Leaves a thin, sticky film on the palate that smacks of citrus fruit.
Drinkability: Nice flavor, rather well-wounded, and without any great detriments. A rare brew that I am glad to have had the opportunity to sample.

Picked this one up at ABS drinks in Winksele. Don't know why I decided to go for this beer exactly. Maybe the tacky label had something to do with it.
Pours a slightly hazy, golden brew with a nice, thick head that lasts for quite a while.
Smells fruity mainly: appels & grapes accompany a spicy aroma. Some roasty notes and notes of almonds become traceable as the beer warms.
Taste: Initially strangely sweet with apples and almonds. After this some roasty notes flow out in a mildly bitter, spicy finish that reveals some notes of alcohol. Overall though, the alcohol is hidden quite well.
The mouthfeel is smooth & pleasant. The beer has a very gentle carbonation wich makes this beer a nice quaffer..
This would be very drinkable too if it wasn't for the somewhat awkward sweetness.
I was expecting an average tripel, but this is actually really good. There's a lot going on and although it may be just a little too sweet for my taste this stuff was still able to pleasantly suprise me.

Bottled 22-02-05 BB 4 years after. Nice and lasting white head and a golden beercollor that's nice and clear. Nose is almond, maltyness, litle butter and quiet alcoholic as taste is also. Nice spicyness, quiet alcoholic, litle aple juice taste and moderate to low bitterness in the end. Well balanced beer and fitting carbonisation makes mouthfeel full and good. Enjoyed this one all the way but IMO nothing realy special.
