Brugge Beer Festival 2014: a beer with 'chamomile' (a daisy tea?) and Pilsner Malts with the brew kettle. No wonder I didn't really take to it!
Golden orange with a slight haze, on top a white crown of bubbles.
The nose is of mild wheat/grains and yeast esters, maybe a citrus hint if you sniff long and hard enough.
Taste followed the smell to the letter, wheat, other grains and yeasty: a typical Belgian Witbier but without the spiciness or fruitiness you'd expect. I'm not huge fan of the style anyway, so this wasn't my cup of tea.
My only mistake of the day!

On-tap at Brugs Beertje. Appearently it's a local beer, but it's brewed at De Proef. On to the beer:
This beer is a light golden color with a colis head and spotty lace clinging around the glass. The aroma of faint malted wehat and little vague fruit worries me, because the aroma is very weak. Somehow, it gets worse. Not only is the taste weak, but it also carries the flavor of unwanted cardboard along with weak fruitiness. Not good. The beer is light bodied with a slight wateriness and crisp carbonation.
This is boring beer that's not worth a repeat. Don't let the cool name fool you.
