Pours a bright gold with a slight chill haze and a two-finger bubbly white head that fades slowly to a thin cap and sticky ring. Great lacing.
Smell is Belgian yeast with notes of wet blanket and a musty earthiness, lemon zest, and green apple.
Taste begins with some biscuity malts, before some yeast and sour fruit flavors. Wet grass and that musty earthiness from the nose hits mid-palate before finishing with some lemon and a lingering bitter/tart combination. Very complex.
Medium-bodied mouthfeel that begins with a tingling carbonation, but finishes a bit flat.
A very complex brew that is quite enjoyable.
