Pours with a deep maroon, actually closer to brown, body topped with a surprisingly silky tan head. The nose is quite complex with grasses, lemon peel, sour apple, and a decidedly yeasty funk. Flavors of grass, beets (shocking!), faint sour cherries, and oak abound with an abundant yet pleasant tartness. The feel is bright and lively with great carbonation. My taste buds would swear this was a Flanders oud bruin with some time in oak as opposed to a farmhouse ale. The complexity was wonderful.

750 mL bottle. Murky brown. Big khaki head. Thick collar. Smells... odd. Earthy and a bit like green peppers. Lightly yeasty. Lightly acidic taste. Some vinous notes. Green peppers. Some roasted malts. Unpleasant. Bitter and earthy finish. Medium body. Low carbonation. This is pretty terrible.

A - Dark burgundy pour with a micro-thin lacing ring.
S - Lemongrass, sage, herbal, flowery.
T - Dill, herbally, sage, tart lemon grass, somewhat flowery, and a zingy tart and lightly puckering finish.
M - Full medium body, no carbonation, velvety finish for a Saison which is an oxymoron in my book. Wet finish and makes the mouth salivate.
O - This beer comes with 3D glasses because of the label, the beer tastes better with the glasses on because the flavors pop more. ;o)
