Volkan Santorini White
Volkan
Inspired by the white washed cliff dwelling of Santorini. Light blonde coloured lager with flavours of yellow fruits and hints of honey. Notes of pineapple, banana, lemon and unripe bitter orange all come through in this rich refreshing beer.
Ingredients: Water, malted barley, malted wheat, hops, yeast, blend of fragrant Santorini honey and Citrus Medica

L: Very hazy white/yellow color, half finger white head, bad lacing, plenty of carbonation.
S: Very sour, wheat. Not a fan of this aroma, similar to Hoegaarden.
T: Thankfully it tastes better than it smells but still, nah!
F: Nice carbonation and good mouthfeel but kind of watery on the back end.
O: Definitely not a fan of this beer style so I could be misjudging it. But it's not my thing for sure.

Volkan Santorini White has a thick, cotton-like, white head, an initially clear, bubbly, straw-gold appearance, which becomes milky, white-gold, once the thick layer of sediment is swished and poured in. Lacing's role in this beer is minimal. The aroma is of bubble gum, a shade of honey, and sweet, white bread. Taste is of honey biscuits, spicy white bread, and no bitterness. White pepper and coriander are picked up. Mouthfeel is medium and fluffy, and Volkan Santorini White finishes dry and mellow.
