Look: It pours yellow and clear with a full white head and very good head retention.
Smell: It has a citrus, spice, and peppercorn aroma that is strong up front. There is a bit of pink grapefruit with rye.
Taste: It has a doughy and spicy rye flavor with peppercorn, pepper, and lemon. The is a bit of bread in the background. It has a spicy sharpness to it towards the end.
Feel: It has a medium body with a very peppery and spicy finish. There is plenty of initial carbonation.
Overall, a niche beer for those that like pepper and spices. There are many flavors with this beer, some of which I haven't pinned down.

Clear golden color with a thick head. Lighter in body but heavy carbonation, which makes it seem a bit off-balance. The peppercorn flavors are definitely present. There’s some element of complexity, but overall, I’d say they combine for too powerful of a flavor that I’m looking for in a beer. Think of a salad or soup in which you accidentally poured too much pepper. Not that you don’t like pepper, there’s just too much of it. The most enjoyable part of the beer for me is the floral and vanilla aromas left in the glass.

Thanks to nc41 for this one from NBS BIF #8. 16oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a cloudy medium gold color with an inch of white head that dissipated promptly and left light lacing. There were also quite a few floaties, but they settled out quickly enough, even though they did end up coating the bottom of the glass.
The aroma was nice; earthy grains (as expected from a brew with 7 different grains in the bill), good yeastiness, and surprisingly light pepper from the 7 different types of peppers. Pretty similar on the tongue, grains, yeast, and pepper combined nicely, and there was a bit of sweetness in the middle of the palate.
The body was light-medium, a bit sticky in the middle (although the active carbonation helped that out fairly quickly), and finished nicely dry. Drinkability was very good, I was wishing I had had another can at hand before this one was even gone. Overall, a very nice brew, one that I'll have fond memories of. A must try if you see it.

Medicine bottle from Bruisin’Ales. Poured into a Rare Vos glass.
Opaque, slippery, dark yellow brew with a tall white, but quickly wilting eaten away head.
Obvious smells of green & white pepper, but not as bold as I was hoping for. Cereal, faint lemon, veg, pithy lime.
Taste is weak pepper & starchy grains. Carbonation is strong at first, but falls fast, turning the brew soupy & a bit difficult. Mild to moderate grain sweetness, leaving a bit of an itch in my throat.
It’s okay. CBC made(makes?) a peppercorn brew that I couldn’t stop ordering pints of in the moment. All the extra grains in this just make it a bit mushy. Raw amaranth... well then.

This beer pours a light golden color. The head is white, but extremely arge. Might have to do with coming straight out of my suitcase, though. Retention is average.
The nose is a foral aroma. Slight pepper, but mostly floral.
The taste is quite sweet up front. On the backside, I get a pepper finish.
The body is decent, and a bit of a carbonation feel on the back of my throat.
Tasty farmhouse ale. Well brewed, and it is a good beer to have in your fridge.

Came in a goblet a hazed lemon tinged lighter golden with a sticky white head atop.Yeasty phenols stand out in the nose although they are nut in your face, not much of the peppery spice I was liooking for.The flavors underwhelmed in the pepper category as well, mainly lightly toasted grain and phenols spice,a hint of peppercorn in the finsh./quite light and drinkabe but not really up to what it says it is.
