Pint at the brewery (£3.50):
Clear, light golden with a thin, foamy white lacing that just about covers the surface.

Light with some grassy hops & lemon. Subtle lager malts that's quite fresh & clean with some bread & biscuit.

Light hops and grassy flavours coming through alongside some citrus & touches of corn. There was hints of grain but the taste, like the smell was a fairly basic one but enjoyable nonetheless.

Light & lively with medium carbonation & fairly dry finish with some light bitterness. Quite refreshing in places & it was definitely an easy on to drink.

Not a bad lager that went down better than expected with a clean taste that was . The subtle hops were a nice addition and the beer was a big step up from the other mass-produced pale lager that the east end of Glasgow is famous for producing.

Very good lager, would be happy to adopt this as my new session lager, the 4.4% abv is just right.

Good job.

Loose snow foam that trails and sheets over the palest platinum ever - not even any Carapils in this one. 3.75
Hay and grain sack with maybe a touch of lemon zest and apple. Nose thickens as it warms. 3.5
Lean baguette crust and straw malts, some dried mango and cantaloupe rind, then feathery lemon, kumquat, orchard fruit and grassy hops. 4
Waxy rind finish with some perfume and big pear drops to end and bitter little flash to linger.
Crisp, round, oily, light. 4

Calypso, Amarillo, Cascade

-- Lighter than light. Hops are there, but like gossamer - a butterfly of fruity hops. Spiky edges to hops as it warms. Definitely get the tea and pear from Calypso. A success. 4.25

Pours very light gold, small head that dissipates quick

aroma of new world hops, zest, fresh. fairly low aroma

lowish amount of flavour too but light malts and the hops come through again, citrussy

Decent enough, step up from your standard euro lagers

some prickly carbonation, low bitterness, drying finish

On tap in Edinburgh, Scotland at a random pub.

Pours a hazy golden yellow color with one inch of white head and high carbonation as it is a keg not cask beer. Floral hops and fruity malts. Medium body and moderate carbonation, some bitter hops in the taste.

Overall better than the Innis and Gunn Euro lager but not great. Stick with the cask ales.

Pours clear golden with 2-finger white foam, rather nice retention.
Smell - grain, lemon zest, herbal hops.
Taste - malty with nice citrusy bitterness.
Highly drinkable and refreshing, light-bodied, soft carbonation, excellent as for standard lager.
