64oz growler from NebCo. Pours a translucent reddish brown color with an inch of frothy white head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is toasty with some piney hops, orange and tropical fruits. The taste is pine hops with some toasted malts up front. Some light citrus and tropical fruits along with some caramel. Almost tastes a bit like toast. Piney and floral hops towards the finish. Fair amount of bitterness but this one has a pretty big malt presence. Medium bodied with a slightly oily finish. Very dry. Overall, this one balances the hoppiness and malt flavors well making it a really good Red. Worth seeking out.

Poured from a growler into a tulip glass. Nice copper tone with a creamy thick head. Lots of citrus, maybe mango, and pine. I love the color. The first thing that hits me is the hops and then a nice bitterness. Really an excellent take on a classic west coast hoppy red ale.

Growler poured into snifter.

Deep copper with thick, creamy off white head. Brewed with Galaxy, Nelson, and HBC342, this thing smells amazing, fruit pine and citrus. Tastes delicious -- what I am really loving about this brew is the bitter bite -- bites harder than something like Gandhi Bot but still so drinkable. Another excellent offering from NEBCo.

Hoppy Red Ale with Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin and HBC 342 hops

A: Pours copper with a 3 finger off white-head which dissipates to a thin layer, leaves a nice lacing

S: Smells of sweet fruits: passionfruit, mango, pineapple, orange, and a little floral.

T: Firm bitterness with lots of citrus and tropical fruits with a bit of caramel to back it up.

M: Moderate carbonation and body.

O: Might be my favorite of the Fat-Ten-Ers (although #2 was pretty amazing!)

Very excited for #5, a smoked old ale!

Fresh from brewery today and from growler.
Pours a nice cloudy amber with a thin layer of dirty head but nice lace clouds along the glass. Smell is unbelievable both in style and overall versus other beers I've had. Floral overwhelming with some citrus sweetness (Nelson/galaxy combo is great here). Taste a bit more smooth with less bite versus a DIPA but definitely the hoppiest and most dry red that I've had. It's intriguing overall
