Had a mega sampler at the brewery today. Nice new digs by the way NEBCO!
Pours a deep brown with off white head. Looks like a perfect brown all - albeit slightly darker. Great smoked malt aroma here..mixed well with a sweet caramel malt aroma and a nice amount of hops. Flavor id fantastic! Sweet caramel and chocolate with a perfect mellow smoke flavor. The hops provide the perfect balance of bitterness. The mouthfeel is ridiculous. So silky smooth and easy to drink but the body on this is amazing...its full without being cloying or heavy. Really a spectacular brew...glad I got to try it.

On tap at Prime 16. Pours a brownish black color with ruby hues and a 1/4 inch of head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is smokey and meaty. Some earthiness as well. The taste is a mix of smoked malts, charcoal, meat and salt. Like drinking a liquid campfire. Some peat as well as more smoke towards the end as well as more of that meaty campfire flavor. Light mouthfeel with a small amount of carbonation. I love Rauchbiers and I have been waiting a long time for NebCo to make something along this style. It was worth the wait for sure. Overall, outstanding.
