From a can into "Trusty" my goblet, it pours a pale-gold color leaving a nice frothy head, like a latte, that dissipates a little but leaves nice lacing clinging to the sides of the glass.
By smelling it, I can definitely get the scent of the hops, some nice aromas of maybe some plums or some honey. Not much else that I can distinguish is going on here.
Tasting: I first get the taste of the fruitiness of it, followed by a slight hoppiness that is bitey at first but then drops off. It leaves a slight sweet aftertaste, much like many of the lagers I drink leave (at least to me). The taste is very clean and it was crafted very nicely.
Mouthfeel is great! This is a beer that I can drink a lot of and be happy about it...in fact, Sulldaddy and I drank a case of it on Halloween! The carbonation is clean and apparent, and tickles your tongue a bit on the way down. Nicely done brew...as you can see above, this beer is very drinkable...tough beer for beer pong though!!! (ha)
