12oz can poured into a snifter.
A: Pours an opaque dark yellow golden with a white head sitting on top. Too hazy to see any visible carbonation. Leaves some real nice lacing as the head slowly dissipates. Just a bit of lacing.
S: Real nice hop aroma on this one. Mixture of earthiness, herbal and skunkiness. Quite pungent with a hint of citrus fruitiness. Just a bit of malting makes up the backend.
T: Great hop forward flavor on this beer as any IPA should have. Isn't overly bitter but instead imparts a good deal of flavor from the hops. As with the aroma it is an earthy skunky quality that is quite unique. Alcohol is well hidden.
M: Medium body with ample carbonation. Pretty easy drinking with a refreshing finish. Isnt overly dry as some IPA's can be. Something I could drink all night.
Overall I'm impressed with the drinkability of this one. Nice hop flavor without dosing out too much bitterness. Worth picking up.

A: poured from the squealer to the Ghandi-bot tulip, the head kinda fluffs up to a finger and then died quickly to a 2 mm collar and a wispy white disk. No legs on swirl and a gold glowing translucent body.
S: Orangy/citrus/lemony notes backed with pleasant light malt and a hint of new-school-hops like mosaic, with that cumin/onion/garlic but very, very slight. Not overpowering in the least.
T: US-Tropical citrus, with a hint of childrens' aspirin backed with a very slight malt presence and a very citrusy, lemony hit. Light and delicate.
M: light/creamy up front followed by the lightest, most delicate and impossibly dry finish I have ever experienced. It is a velvety smooth swallow with a very slight lemony note.
O: Awesome and definitely a well crafted IPA. Try it for sure if you can.

Sadly, New England Brewing doesn't distribute to MA anymore, I always enjoyed this OG canned IPA. Picked up a 6-pack while in Hartford this past weekend for a revisit.
Appearance - Hazy rusty orange color, soapy white head. Retains as a thick ring and patchy cap, no lace.
Smell - Orange, grapefruit and floral hop aromas dominate with some piny dank there as well. With warmth, some icing sugar there for malt, but mostly bout dem hops.
Taste - Oranges, grapefruit, piny, earthy, floral, bit o' dank for hops. Icing sugar and biscuity malts.
Mouthfeel - Good full body, nice swishy carbonation, fair amount of bitterness but pretty crushable nonetheless.
Overall - This one falls under the radar, still holds up nicely with today's IPA standards. Solid all around, good price for a 6-pack (paid $9.50). Will have to pick up more of this when in CT.
