On tap at Delaney's Tap Room on a recent trip to New Haven
A- Pours a clear amber/orange hue, ring of white foamy head sustains, layers of frothy head
S- Crisp and clean caramel and biscuit malts, subtle grass hops in the background, unimpressive and dissipating
T- Initial taste is light bitter hops, followed quickly by caramel malts, touch of citrus, finishes dry with slight alcohol
M- Light-medium bodied, watery texture, high carbonation
D- Surprisingly malt-forward IPA, the hops are very muted and I would have pegged this as more of an amber/red ale, also carbonation is too high and distracting
Serving type: on-tap
