<<<Just wanted to note that the artwork on the can is quite odd! I don't get the connection between the image and the title of the beer. Anyway, I don't claim to be an art critic. >>>
A: Hazy deep orange body topped off by half inch of white foam that dissipates quickly but leaves extensive lacing
S: Wow! This smells wonderfully! A very sweet citrus aroma with pine blended in backed up by caramel. This all blends together very nicely.
T: The citrus steps back a bit and a very strong pine-resin blast hits you. Strong malt/caramelly backbone creates a nice balance. Finish is bitter with a slight taste of alcohol. This'll wake up your palate!
M: Oily. That explains it perfectly. Nice and thick...oily!
D: It's midnight right now. I'd love to take down 2 or 3 of these on a hot summer day (maybe this weekend). Very drinkable!
This is a very intense DIPA that really hits the spot. The aroma and mouthfeel are excellent! I hope this is a year-round release by New England Brewing!
