Received a 4pack from Knifestyles, thanks Chris. Poured the little peace loving robot into a pint glass:
A - a yellow, golden color with an orangish hue toward the middle. Head is a light foam cap then dwindles into foam ring around the edges. Lacing retention is good.
S - Sweet pineapple and grapefruit with other citrus notes. Little bits of red apple and slight pine resinous but mostly citrus.
T - more piney and resinous than the smell. Bitter pine and earth with the malt coming forward. Sweet toward the end.
M - Tingly carbonation and a dry after feeling. The sweetness leaves a syrup feeling which is dried by the bitterness.
D - good drinkability. The dryness makes it hard to put away but that not always a bad thing. The bitter/sweet makes it...interesting... To be honest, I think I love the fact that Gandhi is depicted as a robot and find that slightly more entertaining than the beer itself, but it is still a decent brew.
