Super delicious local DIPA. Pour from the can is a nice orange amber. Not much head.

Nose is super resin y and sticky with pine and hops.

Taste is full of big juicy hops. Just a little citrus character. Really rich and full

Nice medium full body.

Delicious. Get it fresh.

This beer always makes me very happy. I would give it a perfect rating, but I have had the Peekskill Double Standard on several occasions, and I have yet to try those fabled IPAs from northern Vermont. It is just as good out of the can as it is on tap. Hopefully their new canning machine will not change that.

Can (2013)

Thanks, trxxpaxxs!

Slightly hazed golden amber. Moderate near-white head. Somewhat sticky.

Fantastic aroma. Huge amounts of tropical and citrus fruit hop character. Moderate sweet malt backbone and just the fainest touch of an alcohol presence. It all comes together very well.

The flavor is even more juicy and citrus-forward than the aroma. Nice bitterness that accompanies. Discernible, clean, lingering, sticky, citrus and passion fruit flavors. Some sweet bread and very mild alcohol present at room temperature.

Medium bodied with moderate-high carbonation.

Very, very tasty. This was much better than I was expecting.
