Best DIPA ive ever had...plain and simple. Aroma is extremely tropical with beautiful pineyness. Pours a sticky white lacey head with dark tangerine color. Basically flawless beer in my opinion I just wish they would produce more of this beer in CT!!! Today I filled up two growlers and every time I am simply amazed

This poured as expected for an IPA with a thick amber hue and an ivory head of dense foam.

The nose is thick and sweet with fruity hop character. I catch strong grapefruit, tangerines and apricot with tones of honey and rye.

The flavor is dry, bitter, herbal, vegetative and floral. None of the sweet fruit hops was found on my palate but instead I taste a more raw hop personality. The malt backbone is a tad unorthodox as it does not give off a sweet caramel but more a dry rye or grain.

The feel is exceptionally dry a bit bitter with no astringency and a simple ease.

For a style that has been beat to death this gives a different perspective as the malt used has a different taste and feel.

A-Pours an impressive hazy amber/orange color with no clarity. Head is a tad off-white with an inch of head that has little retention.

S-Grapefruit and pineapple with some awesome complementary pine hops. Only a little, yet noticeable malt and breadiness.

T-All about the sweet hops here. You can taste every one of them. Strong citrus taste like the smell. Malt is a bit heavier here, just enough to add some good balance.

M-The taste is smooth, yet leaves a lingering bitterness on the tongue. Carbonation is a bit heavier than I like, but just barely.

O - Low ABV for the style makes it very drinkable. Great overall DIIPA.
