From Blind BIF #5.
A. Short lived 3 finger creamy head on yellow orange cloudy body. 3.5
S. Since I just got done with the lawn, the allergies are kicking in. I can hardly smell anything. Maybe a bit of spicy hops. We'll call it a 4.
T&M. There is a very present Belgian yeast spice. Fairly dry finish, and nice and crisp throughout. Probably around 8% and a nice noticeable hop bitterness help there. I am thinking this is a hoppy Belgian Blonde, maybe even a Belgian IPA. If Piraat was an IPA, this certainly could be one. Reminds me a lot of Surly Cynic, only with less chewiness. As it warms and I stop sneezing, I get even more of the hops. This is really nice! 4/4
O. I really like this one, especially after sweating outside all evening. I would buy this often if available and reasonably priced. 4.5

Poured from can into my Unibroue tulip.cloudy straw color with requisite thick airy head. Not much on the nose. Some light stone fruit, a bit of funk, but nothing sharp.
Taste is slow to develop. Seems bland at first, but that sharp hit comes later.
This is a good beer, but I'll take a Duvel or Matilda anyway.

Poured from 12 oz. can into a tulip glass
A - A hazy yellow body with a foamy white head.
S - Yeasty odors dominate the nose - I pick up coriander, clove, and lemongrass.
T - Fruity and spicy esters are the first things to hit the tastebuds. Pear, banana, allspice, and even a bit of bubblegum are in the mix. Then comes a Belgian sugar cookie sweetness. The finish is fairly dry with a touch of acrid lemongrass and clove.
M - A fairly glutinous mouthfeel accompanied by a foamy carbonation.
O - Worth picking up if you visit the Constitution State. Humerous artwork on the cans will entertain party guests, too.
