This beer is interesting. It's not going to get hop heads super excited because the barrel aging really brings out the malt profile, still, it has a unique balance that isn't at all devoid of hops. While it is on the sweeter side of the spectrum, it has really nice fruit and citrus notes along with a bit of smokiness and wood. The feel is terrific. It drinks easy, is perfectly bitter and well carbed. Overall this beer is not for everybody. As somebody who loves to dabble in new styles, this one was a hit for me.

An insanely gross beer that for some reason I keep taking more sips. Doesn't have that redonk tequila sting but has that tequila flavor sting. Bottom of the bottle is full of gunk that is making this thing look like a friggin protein shake....barrel turds. In any event, a fully but softly carbonated lime-tequila zest beverage that DDT's every slight inkling of its former self. Gotta tick it though.

Poured 500 mL bottle into snifter glass; had a dark yellow/light orange coloring with minimal head. The tequila barrel is pretty obvious on the nose. You get the regular Gandhi-Bot (or now G-Bot) flavors/hops mixed with booziness of the tequila. There is some vanilla or caramel or toffee flavors mixed in there too. The carbonation is decent along with the body. Overall this is a nice experimental beer and would be curious to see if NEBCO makes it again (or does a different variant instead of the tequila barrels). Cheers!
