Pours a hazy straw yellow with pale hues beneath the abundant rocky white head that persists for some time and leaves a consistent sticky lacing around the glass.

Fresh hop aromas of citrus and pine float from the glass.

The flavor coats the palate with pine and citrus hops with an impressive sweet citrus aftertaste with a pleasant pine residue remaining. There is only a hint of malt mid palate with lemon grass hints as well.

Medium to lighter in body with a fair amount of carbonation and a resiny finish.

Fantastic beer that goes after being one thing and knows what it is. (583 characters)

32oz. growler into a Pizza Boy pint glass.

Pours a 1 finger coarse white head with low retention. Beer is a semi-clear pale orange. Lacing is layered and thick with good stick. A good looking beer considering the container format.

Nose is citrus, pine, cane sugar and a grapefruit hop bitterness. A touch of soapiness too. Moderately aromatic.

Opens papaya, citrus and grapefruit. Some pine hop bitterness with a light malt backbone for balance. End is hoppy and citrussy with a bitter finish and a lingering, sticky hop aftertaste. Pretty much what I want from the style.

Light bodied with moderate to low carbonation. Slick and quenching in the mouth and goes down smooth with some light bubbles. Clean finish with a slightly filmy aftertaste. Appropriate for the style.

NEBCO is slowly starting to be recognized for the pale ales and this one doesn't disappoint. Nothing really stands out here but that's a good thing. Very drinkable with a nicely balanced flavor profile and appetizing nose. Worth trying. (1,016 characters)

32 oz. growler poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Hazy deep orange. Small white head and a thin collar.

Smell - Bright juicy orange, then musty and dank grassy hops behind it. Barely any malt.

Taste - It's all orange hops. Very nice. Cracker malt. Light grassiness and bitterness in the back end.

Mouthfeel - Light body. Medium low carbonation.

Overall - Low carbonation is probably a function of the growler, but even without it, it's drinkable and delicious. (472 characters)
