I discovered this place almost by accident a few months ago, and have been back many times since. Located on Rt 30 in the north end of Joliet (near Crest Hill) the outside of this place has a sort of road house feel to it. Parking is fairly easy to find on the front and sides of the building.
Inside, this is a beautiful bar. The large u-shaped bar sits front and center in the room, with comfortable stools at the bar and tables and chairs thoughout the rest of the place. There is a long line of flat panel TVs above the bar, and they often show sporting events on those. On Blackhawks game nights, this place is JUMPING! They also have live music (mostly blues) from time to time.
They have 12 taps, with all but 1 or 2 being devoted to craft beer. Nothing mind blowing, but all good quality stuff from the likes of Allagash, Brooklyn, Bell's, Revolution, Goose Island, etc, etc. They also have a nice little selection of great craft stuff in cans/bottles. Don't be afraid to quiz the bartenders about what's in the glassed-in beer coolers behind the bar. There's good stuff in there!
The bartenders I have encountered were super friendly and attentive. Really top notch.
The juke box has a big selection of stuff that this classic rock and hard rock guy loves. There is something for everyone on there though...
All in all, this is a beautiful place with a nice bit of craft beer, a great atmosphere, and good people. Highly recommended.
