The Bierodrome Kingsway is located right on Kingsway (on a corner) only a few blocks walk from the Holborn Tube station. A corner location, the walls are glass on two sides. The interior is fairly modern looking with a stainless steel bar with stools (seats about 20) and many tables for seating. The bar is rectangular with beer bottles from around the world adorning shelves above the bar. Fairly loud music on Saturday night.

The service was good, and beers were served in the appropriate glassware (branded, too). There was a printed two page beer menu with good information about each beer, including the ABV%.

They have a full bar. As for the beer, there are 9 taps, 7 of them Belgian beers (plus Guinness and Kronenbourg). They also offer 46 bottled beers, almost all of them from Belgium. Some of the beers on tap were: Faro, Mort Subite, DeKoninck, Pauwel Kwak. Some of the bottles were: Achel Blond and Dark, Chimay Red, Triple, Bleu, and Grand Cru, Orval, Westmalle Dubbel & Tripel, Rochefort 8, Hoegaarden, Belgo White, Leffe Blonde, Barbar, Affligem Blonde, Hapkin, DeKoninck Tripel, Pauwel Kwak, Hoegaarden Grand Cru, Tripel Karmeliet, Delirium Tremens, Duvel, Lucifer, Bush Dubuisson, Kasteel Tripel, etc.

Overall quite a nice selection of beers, though served rather cold. If you are in the mood for a Belgian beer in London, this is a good place to go. Closed on Sunday.

Nothing new to add to UncleJimbo's review of this place, except for the fact that it should be a pretty new venue of Belgo as I had not seen even the ghost of it when I studied just on the opposite side of Kingsway (LSE). I have been there twice now (most recent visit was three days ago). The reason why I'd return was basically the atmosphere there in the afternoon which attracts me the most, as a student. The fact that it is situated so close to the LSE, King's College London and some other Colleges explains why it's often full of young faces.

The interior is spacious, modern, neat and chic, with three(?) sets of "lazy-bone" sofas arrayed against the big glass windows. On the very sofas I enjoyed my Olde Geuze-Boon during my first visit and a St. Feuillien Blonde for the second visit, both proved simply too cold, but the atmosphere was really relaxing. The same cannot be said about the evenings though.

The regular barmen seem to be very cool but helpful. The service is fast and attentive. But the price of their beers is, well, OTT! The selection is not so impressive, either. They do have a lot of popular and well-known brands to quench normal people's thirsts, while only a few rare gems hid themselves between the lines on the menu.

Another thing about the menu: the cover shows the pictures of quite a many Belgian beers along with their respective glasses, but a lot of them aren't sold over there at all!! I learned a thing or two about this cruel reality after visiting their (Belgo) original restaurant in Covent Garden many years ago, but a new visitor to this bar would certainly go ballistic if he/she means to choose a beer from the pictures, I reckon?

Overall, this is a nice venue for young people, but certainly not for beer connoisseurs. Last remark (also applicable to some proud Belgian beer bars): the Belgians really know how to make beers for sure, but a lot of bars and pubs even in their own country simply have no idea about how to serve it perfectly, let alone this Belgian-owned bar-chain. They might like to start by putting right the serving temp. for bottled beers in particular, I think... then improve their range of selection. That way it would easily double their reputation and popularity~~
