Here's a beer that bangs to the beat of its own double kick drum. Hairbanger features toasty malts and a classic Belgian yeast amplified by big, citrusy, tropical American hops. This beer hits as hard as your favorite power chord. Turn it up, raise a fist, and rock out with this one, brother. Leather pants strongly encouraged.

16 oz can from Tavour. Medium amber with one finger foamy head. Light malty aroma, bananas, sweet. Taste is more of the malty notes, light sweetness. Very, very subdued.

Faintly hazy, amber body; thick, sticky, rocky head. Peach aroma; some other estery funk. Rather sweet with an underpinning of hop bitterness. Medium body with some tame residual sugar feel; juicy and dry at the same time.
A tasty, fruit-forward tasting pale ale.

L: hazy peach gold under a 2" cream colored foam cap with a very fine bead and good retention
S: Belgian yeast character, banana, biscuit, and tropical fruit
T: loaded with tropical fruit, medium banana, citrus, bubble gum, hard lemon drop candy a smidgen of light toast and biscuit and medium bitterness
F: creamy Belgian yeast texture with a medium light body and medium high, very fine and soft carbonation
O; You will like this beer because of the rich, creamy Belgian yeast texture, the way the hop tropical fruit flavors play off the Belgian yeast fruit flavors and the pleasant bitter accent - all in a beer with only 5.5% alcohol by volume

This beer pours a pale amber with a solid head. The aroma features orange peel, black tea, lots of pine, and a touch of spice. The flavor is dominated by orange peel, with marzipan, pine, black tea, clove, and woodsy spice. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, with low carbonation. Overall this is a pretty tasty beer - it's not a standout in any particular way, but it has a great overall constructions - drinkable, get keeps you interested throughout. Another excellent Bauhaus beer.

Tap at Sea Salt Eatery at Minnehaha Falls. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a fluffy white head of foam. It smelled of bubblegum, caramel and floral notes. Sweet caramel, toasty caramel and a nice bitter bite for balance.

The aroma started really strong with citrus, banana, tropical fruit and toasted malt, but shifted to only toasted malt and light citrus after a few minutes. There are a lot of flavors in the taste, similar to the initial aroma, but all of the elements muddle each other a little. Nice carbonation with s dry finish. Good Hoppy Belgian Pale but not quite the sum of its parts.

16 Oz can poured into glass.
Appearance: pours a deep straw color with a white head that rapidly dissipates. Bubbles within the beer subside in a few minutes.
Smell: Bright and hoppy.
Taste: citrus fruits and hop forward. Not overpowering. Belgian yeast definitely shows through. Works well together.
Mouthful: Chalky.
Overall: Refreshing, good, a good second tier pale ale.
