The wife and I were in Muskegon visiting family and a cousin suggested to stop at Hennesy's. It is right on downtown (or whatever is left of it), by the Museum of Art and near Unruly Brewing.

We visited on a weekday at lunch time and it was pretty empty. The beer selection surprised me: 25 taps and lots of good Michigan craft brews, including Bell’s Smitten Rye, Crankers Coconut Porter, Vivant Triomphe, Saugatuck Neapolitan, Dark Horse Plead the 5th, Short’s Yosemite, Bell’s Two Hearted, Founder’s Centennial, Dirty Bastard, Lindeman’s and Bell’s Oberon, plus Bass, Guinness and a bunch of brews for the masses.

Make sure you ask for the seasonal/rotating taps! The server will have them written down, but they may not be on the menu.

Service was very attentive, no complaints there. Food, however, was terrible. Bad fried, bad sandwiches, horrible soups and salads. Stick to the beer!!

They also have beer events, such as a Founder's tap takeover that included many rare and one-off brews.

One of the better options in Muskegon, no doubt.
