Was able to give the Thirsty Belgian a try when I was in town for a recent conference. The most amazing Belgian beer selection that I have ever seen! Plus all the proper glassware for said beers and a staff that really understands them all and can make solid recommendations! Loved it!

Let the location in a strip mall deter you. The Thirsty Belgain is as homogenized on the inside as it is on the out. They have twelve taps total which is an adequate amount if done right. I just don't think that calling yourself a beer bar and having 1/6 of your taps dedicated to Stella go hand in hand. Service was also slow, and faily uninformed about the beer. This place can only be considered a beer bar through small town lenses. I will not go back.

What a great little oasis in a strip mall. Don't be put off by the location, this place has a great beer selection of stuff you won't find elsewhere. Try a Belgian saison and a toastie for a nice lunch.

Located in a strip of shops set off of South Broadway, The Thirsty Belgian is a small place owned by a local couple who worked for many years at the Whistle Binkies pubs in Rochester.

The nine taps are a rotating variety of Belgians, Belgian-style beers, and IPAs accompanied by Stella Artois and Stella Cidre. One of the things I like about this place is the well-curated, but ever-changing tap offerings. An extensive bottle list is also available.

Service is a team effort - there is no looking for your server, anyone with help you out.

Food is a collection of small plates, salads, pressed sandwiches, and flatbread-style pizzas that use naan as the crust. In my trips there I have tasted most of the menu and haven't found a bad item.

Nice place not a super location. 10 beers on tap most rotating only 2 main stays being Stella and Stella cidre. Rotating sour on tap always a plus. Food is good, desert is good as well. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a change of pace from the other beer bars in this town.
