Went here before seeing a concert in Pomona at the Glass House off of Garvey Ave.

Directly off the 10 Freeway, next to a Chipotle and a bunch of stores including Target and Chick's Sporting Goods

Had all their regular brews and a summer seasonal, an India Pale Ale

Always gotta stick with the Nutty Brewnette though, goes great with pizza

Service was a little bad, but it was crowded

Food is always very good, especially the deep dish pizza I get almost every time with blackened chicken and bacon

Guest beers are a little weak, nothing out of the oridnary, Guiness, a widely distributed cider, and a Sierra Nevada Summerfest

Would go back here if in the area, but nothing that stands out as being different from the San Bernardino location right by me

I visited this one quite a few times. Time to put the review down.

Visited recently after daughters ballet recital with some family members.

Atm- This one to me is just off from the other Bj's. Its more of a younger crowd but most of the time, its fast paced and super busy. Always people hustle and bustle.

Quality- With the BJ's brews always available and the other quality Beglian beers in bottles with proper glasses, not bad at all.

Service- The last two times I have been the server has been super quick with whatever I needed and very friendly and responsive.

Food- I love their food but it has been getting a bit of a repeat with nothing new but the small bite appetizers.

Value- Its fair priced for what it is. It can get pricey on some of the larger pizzas and bigger dinner plates though.

Found out this was only a five minute drive from school. Turned out to be a million times better than the shitty mexican restuarant down the street that charged $11 for a pitcher of Bud's American Ale (best choice, belive me).

Ending up coming here to BJ's quite a few times. Always busy, nice bustling atmosphere. Service wasn't lightning quick but not turtle slow either.

Food was as expected, which is pretty damn good. You know when you walk into a place like this how the food is gonna be. Greasy and great!

Nice seletion of house brews. The Tatonka Stout is really good. Plus some other goodies on tap. Yes, I had several pitchers of Arrogant Bastard here. They even have a decent bottle list with mostly belgians on it. And of course, a full bar bitches!!!

Overall: would go anytime for food or drink

The atmosphere is very similar to any other corporate restaurant. It's a pretty big place, lots of TVs for watching sports and it's usually busy and loud.

The quality of the beer is pretty good, I usually drink their beers (the Red or the Pale, for the most part). They're good, nothing totally outstanding, however.

The service at this place is what really kills it. I do not know whether they simply ask the wait staff to cover too many tables or if the waiters/waitresses simply do not care much. I am all for a casual and somewhat slow paced dining experience, but waiting for 20 minutes for someone to come take an order when you have been sitting there looking ready to order is ridiculous. It generally takes too long for the food to come out as well (how long does it really take to make a salad or some nachos?). I have also been (essentially) ignored for long periods of time after the food has come and I would like another beer or somebody at the table would like another soda or water.

If you go with a group of people and are paying separately, bring cash. The apparent difficulty of splitting up a check is too much to handle here.

The food itself is okay. I'm not really a fan of their pizza as I find it to be too greasy, but some of the other items are good. I do like the very thin "appetizer" pizzas, and I have also eaten the nachos, grilled chicken sandwich, and the "field of greens" salad.

The food and drinks are fairly pricey, especially considering the poor service.

Been here a number of times now, usually for someones birthday or something like that. In any case, its in a buisy area right off the freeway. On the inside its set up a little different than the other BJs that I've been to. Overall its a bit more open and because of that the atmosphere is nice. Still a bit loud and crowded but still pretty enjoyable.

The quality of everything is good. The food is wonderful and the beers are made well even if they don't taste all that great. The service is decent. The waiters are pretty nice but the place is always packed so a lot of times its hard to order a beer.

I wasn't overly impressed with their selection of beers either. I've heard that they have some sort of "secret" belgian beer menu. So I asked and really it was just Chimay, Duvel, and a couple others. Its all stuff that you can get at any Bevmo. It is impressive that a regular restaurant has those beers though.

The place is enjoyable but you have to pay for it, but thats just how it goes I guess.

This was my first visit to a BJ's Restaurant. Stopped by for dinner after work one evening during a business trip to the westside of LA.

The host acted as though BJ's was the only brewpub in the country, although he was very nice and was trying to be helpful. Otherwise, service was good. Atmosphere was fairly typical of such a place, though it did seem to have more families than I would have expected.

Beer selection was good, with an IPA and a bitter available as seasonal selections. I tried both, and they were good, though a little thin in body. They also have the Tatonka Stout, which claims to be a Russian Imperial Stout, and pretty much lives up to it. It's lighter-bodied and milder than most craft RIS's, but it was still roasty, complex and very good. I believe it was served on a nitro-tap, as it was quite creamy.

The food I had included some mozzerella sticks (good) and a Chicago-style pizza. The pizza was pretty good and didn't take too terrribly long to cook. Not going to compete with real Chicago pizza, but definitely a few steps up from Pizza Hut.

Prices were reasonable, especially the pizza. I would surely go again and recommend it to others.

I searched this place out a bit on the site looking for a brewpub(s) in the Ontario, CA area since I was going for business. As I walked in at about 4:30, the place was half full. You'll notice a large tv screen with two flat screens to each side, so far my kind of place. The atmoshpere was right up my alley, people chatting, eating, and drinking good brew.

I sat at the bar, the large bar area was well light and the servers were attentive and fast. I got there during happy hour and was pleased to find that the beer was $1 off and mini pizzas were half price, etc. This location has actual brew kettles unlike some of the other locations throughout CA, and to my delight a cask offering which tonight was a Blonde Ale brewed with Lime. It was pretty good, too much lime for my taste but overall decent brew.

This BJ's had about 15 beers on tap 9 or so regular beers with 1 cask and 4 seasonal beers which were all fantastic. BJ's also offers guest taps and beers with a few being Chimay, Guiness, Sierra Nevada Summerfest, etc. Overall if your looking for a good place to grab a beer, and some good food this place is worth the visit. When I come back to CA, I'm def making another stop here.

As you first walk in the atmosphere can seem very corporate wich I agree with to a point. It also mixes in a rustic pub type. A pretty good mix of clientel including a couple families but mostly it was couples with a spattering of larger booths. I thought overall the atmosphere was welcoming.

Service was excellent. I bellied up to the bar where there are 6 good sized televisions with all the sports of the day going on at once. They will change the channels if you ask but they seemed to be on top of things. Bartender kept my glass full of good beer and they were polite even during a busy Saturday afternoon. She even asked if I wanted a chilled glass or room temp wich shows some level of beer training. The beer menu is located within the food menu and it says all you need to know about a beer before purchasing. I wish this place was transplanted to anywhere on the westside as it would be a staple in my routine.

Selection was very good. They had the full lineup of BJ's offerings including a Blond, Pale ale, Porter and an Imperial stout on Nitro. They had a couple others but it was a very basic lineup of the usual offerings at a brewpub. What makes this place great is that they also carry a cask offering that uses the strict CAMRA guidlines for cellaring and serving. They tap a new firkin every Thursday so by the time I got it on Saturday it was still in excellent condition. I found it to be in its prime. It was a wet hopped ale that was fantastic. Served around 55 degrees or possibley a touch warmer. They also had a couple guest taps that at the time was an IPA called Hop it, I think its made by summit. Look at the chalkboard to the left of the bar area for any rotating offerings and the cask description. The pale ale was a solid offering and the Imperial on Nitro was decent. They also carry some belgian bottles with the usual suspects of Duvel, Chimay, Kwak etc etc.

Food looked really good but we had just had a dim sum luncheon so we were stuffed to the gills. I will be coming back to this place whenever I'm close to West Covina. My wife frequents the location in Westwood and although she likes it she referred to the Covina location as being twice as good. Prices were 3.95 a pint. Pretty standard and the menu was typically priced like the usual gourmet burger type places.

did a quick stop at ikea today with the family and went down the street to bj's for lunch. this is my 4th bj's in all. decided to go in because i've heard they actually brew at this location.

today i was somewhat lucky. for specials, they had grand cru and owen's ipa. i decided to go with the owen's ipa. when served, our waitress was said; "wow, you are lucky. you got the last glass of this ... we have no more." not a bad brew. a bit more spicy vs. the piranah. but, since it was the last pour of the "keg" i am sure my glass was not at optimal quality.

food was decent as with other locations. i love their chili and got a bowl (it's made with the pirana ale ... very tasty). service was good. it was actually quiet inside since we were there at 1pm. so, it was nice to be in a "loud" place.

overall bj's is a nice place to grab a bit and have a good brew. my favorite location is still rancho cuc.

cheers.

This place is reasonable if you get there for Happy Hour. After HH, the place gets a little more expensive and a lot less relaxed. BJ's is located right of the 10 freeway and can be seen while driving by....

I have been to this location a few times and found it to be more crowded than the other locations. The bar at BJ's seems to always be packed and the place is rather loud. If you are looking for relaxation, you have come to the wrong place.

The beers are pretty decent. I happen to like the Jeremiah Red at all the locations and don't really mind the chain recipe beer for the good pizza. Chicago style is just awesome when you want a hearty meal.

The service is average...I wasn't blown away but I wasn't disappointed.

I sometimes feel like saying, "been to one BJ's, been to them all" and I would have to say the same thing right now.
