My favorite of the Lucky Girl beers. I'm not usually a fan of fruit infused beer, but this is a hell of a summer beer.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 6/9/2015. Pours slightly hazy bright golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of juicy pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops, pineapple, and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of juicy pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/piney hops, pineapple, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. There is a slight amount of hop or fruit astringency present on the finish; but it does not linger after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky, and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice fruited IPA style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of citrus/tropical/piney hops, pineapple, and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Very artificial and medicinal taste. My first drain pour in a long time.

Pours a golden yellow with a inch and a half foamy white head. Smell of fresh pineapple, tropical fruit, mango, and a small hint of biscuit malt. Taste pineapple, big bitter, chalk, mango, tons of tropical fruit, slight pine, and grass. There isn't much malt or anything else to speak of, a slight dry and crisp flavor. Medium to light body and mouth feel. Nails what I expect out of a pineapple ipa.
