Poured from tap into shaker, 1 finger cream colored head, nice retention and lacing. Pale turbid yellow in the glass. Smells of tropical citrus and pineapple. Taste is light malt sweetness and pineapple, followed up by the citrus, more orange than grapefruit. Pineapple makes an appearance on the mild bitter finish, pineapple lingers on the palate. Nice semi dry finish. Good mouthfeel.

300ml keg at Drugie Dno, Warsaw, Poland (10 PLN):
This one turned out to be a slightly underwhelming offering from Artezan & not as good as their Mera IPA that I reviewed here previously, particularly considering the fact that I ordered this one based on how good some of the online reviews of it had been. The beer opened with some biscuit malts & the odd tropical fruit flavours but I was expecting more in the way of a juicy hop taste & nice bitterness, neither of which materialised. It was definitely a beer that could have used being a little stronger & carbonation levels could have been increased too but as it stands the beer was quite an average one & probably not a beer I'd go for again.

50cl bottle. Pale golden, hazy, with a very tall white head with good retention. Light citrus aroma, lemon zest, grapefruit, passion fruit. The taste follows the same notes, very mellow, with taste notes well balanced. Medium body, soft carbonation and a perfectly well balanced bitter-sweet aftertaste.

500 ml bottle, Browarium Sklepy Piwna- Pours cloudy amber with a large white foamy head. Medium carbonation. Nice lacing. Smell - Citrus aromas to the fore - orange/marmalade, light yeasty backdrop. Taste - Citrus again at the front which lingers really nicely, crisp light bitter finish. Like their Mera another great APA from this brewery. Real quality.
Update - Tap @ Artezan, Warsaw - Really, really nice on tap. Shade less than Mera but still top APA's.

Clear golden body with a creamy white head.
Orange and tangerine hops. Bready malts.
Crisp and a bit of bitterness.
Not an American type of super hopped up pale ale but good presence. If you are in Poland and can find this def try it if in the mood for some hops.
