Dark brown appearance with a small amount of head that quickly disappears. Smell is fairly light, picked up some sweetness, nuts and bread though.
Taste is sweet with toffee, caramel, bread and roasted nuts. Very light all around, but balanced. Light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Aftertaste is bitter with a lingering caramel taste.
Overall, a decent seasonal beer. Not the most flavorful beer, but inoffensive and smooth. Good to crack a few of these on a hot day. I recommend a try.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass
Pour: hazy dark amber with an off white head that disappears and leaves nearly no lacing
Nose: light struck, which i was not expecting since it came from a brown bottle. Once I got past that, it was fairly pleasant. Malty, no hops, hint of caramel, toasty. Not a ton of depth, but not bad.
Taste: more of the same. Malty, no hop flavor, but some bitterness to keep it from getting too sweet. Easy to drink
Mouthfeel: a little watery, which happens with lower alcohol dunkel beers. Nothing lingers. Has a mouthfeel of the session beer that it is.
Overall: pretty good beer. Not a ton to it, but it's a session beer. Need to grab another one to find out if it was light struck, or if I'm losing my mind.

It has a feel like that of a saison and the color of a pale ale. At first, it reminded me of wheat beers and hefeweizen beers. But the slightly astringent and dry aftertaste were similar to the Springstreet Saison from Avondale Brewery. This would be great with a light tasting, baked appetizer.
