Poured 3 bottles into a liter-sized Paulaner dimpled mug.

The beer is a deep, deep mahogany brown with lighter brown coming through the edges. A foamy cream colored head calms to a film with random spots and a patch of lacing sticks to the glass.

The beer smells sweet and malty with faint notions of toffee and caramel.

The taste profile is equal to the aroma. A nice sweetness hits the palate first with a warm, doughy malt body at first. This soon gets coated with a sharper toffee and caramel note before a faint hop finish.

The mouthfeel is medium to light bodied and somewhat carbonated.

Overall, just a nice easy drinker, this dunkel. A good session beer with a low ABV.

Shared tonight by Dan, thanks for the opportunity.
Pours a solid dark brown color with a smallish off white head that quickly dissipates to a cap. Smells of caramel and a hint of chocolate against a bready and pilsner malt base. Little to no hop aroma. The flavor is chocolate and caramel malts with a hint of bready pilsner malt. Little to no hop flavor or bitterness. Medium body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a slick smooth mouthfeel. Decent dunkel, easy to drink, but really nothing special.
