Pours a very, very light golden. Interesting. So pale it looks like a light beer. Very clear. Lots of tiny carbonation rising. 1 finger fluggy white head with good lasting power.
Aroma of yeast, floral hops, sweetness [honey?] and grassy.
Taste is yeasty, very clean. Crisp. Light flavors of honey, grain, grassy. Dry at the end.
Mouthfeel is medium-light, clean, crisp. Nicely cleansing.
Overall, a decent brew. Very drinkable, sessionable due to low ABV.

0.5L can brought in from Germany in a suitcase. Poured into some kind of pilsner. I actually have a glass from a bottle bought in the US, too, just as a curiosity if the imported versus local versions taste perceptibly different. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the same packaging.
Pours crystal clear, golden, with a fizzy head and light carbonation. This is essentially what I expect pilsners to look like. Smell is sweet, straw, lagery yeast, surprisingly mild.
Taste is sweet and crisp. Something a little corny about it, but it's German, so there shouldn't be. Straw again, less of the lagery yeast. Again, quite mild. I'd like something with more bitterness a little more.
Mouthfeel is actually kind of thick. Certainly not a light and dry as I think of with other pilsners. Overall, I'd take this over a BMC AAL any day.
The American bottle looks identical. Maybe slightly, slightly more carbonated. Smell is a little skunkier, but that could be can versus bottle. Taste is noticeably different. Again, more skunkiness in the American bottle; the German can is much sweeter. American bottle has the advantage of seeming crisper due to the extra bitterness.

330 ml. bottle. Pours a clear yellow colour, with a nosrmal head that does not hold for too long, leaving some lace. Smell of grass, malt and citrus. Medium body and good carbonation, crispy palate. Taste is bitter, with citrus, grass, grains and some malt. OK.
