A refreshing, pale golden pilsener with a clean taste perfectly balanced with hints of barley malt, subtle bottom fermenting yeast tones and mild hoppy bitterness.

I drank this from my big ass mug, and it looked very Biergarten-esque with it's three finger fluffy short-lived head. Some whisps of sticky lacing coated the sides on the way down to about 1/4 finger. Later, nothing but a collar remained.
This has a very clean and clear malt nose that IMO is very typical of German pilseners. I also get a whiff of lagery funk smells (I don't know if everyone feels this way, but with alot of light colored lagers I get a very stale beer smell that reminds me of the way my fraternity smelled after a big kegger).
Tastes very clean, sweet, and malty. A big fat wad of hops catches up with the sweetness at the end, and the finish is quite bitter and dry. Mouthfeel is crisp and highly carbonated.
This is decently enjoyable, but it lacks a little in complexity. To me, this tates like a souped up (and more highly hopped) version of an American macro lager. I think this would be a good table beer to have with food.
This is a nice pils to sip out on my balcony and enjoy the end of summer.

OK, to respond to some of the lower ratings here...is this the most distinctive beer you'll ever drink? No. Is this one of the best German import lagers available in the US? Yes. Is this one of the best, most crisp lagers you'll ever drink? Yes. Is this a fine example of German brewing? Yes. Therefore, is this one of the finest beers in the world, despite being a mass produced product? Yes.
Perfectly balanced between malty sweetness & hoppiness, delicious & satisfying if you're drinking one, or more than one. And, it has a classic color, with a fluffy head, and nice lacing, if that's important.
Plus, I really appreciate that my local party store now offers Warsteiner Pilsner in 24 pack cans. While the can size is 11.2 oz. (metric system, I guess), I can take this somewhere and let others enjoy my favorite beer. There's also the added bonus that, as of March 2024, the 24 pack is only $3 more than a 24 pack of 12 oz. Budweiser cans. Wait, I can drink non-water for $3? LOL

Pours bubbly straw golden colour a quick receding one finger head. No lacing. Sweet malt aroma reminiscent of peaches. Grainy/cereal hops taste. Elevated carbonation and little to no bitterness. Light and crips tasting. Not that much going on really. Good summer beer.

Standard pilsner. Pours light gold, average head, medium carbonation. Malts and yeast, not a hell of a lot of complexity. Crisp and dry finish. Okay pilsner.

On draft better than expected given the rating. Clear golden with nice white head. Good malt and carbonation. Taste is confused, with barley malt, yeast, and Pilsner hops. But still tastes good (on draft at least). Crisp, a bit of skunked flavor, but otherwise good.

Little to no head. No lacing. Clear golden hue with lots of carbonation visible and in mouthfeel. Malt is dominant smell and flavor. Overall Ok but too many better options to buy it again

12 oz can poured into a tulip pint glass. Pours a clear light yellow color with a medium-sized head. Nice lacing. Aroma and flavor feature clean biscuity malt with floral/spicy hops. Off-dry with low bitterness. Mouthfeel is well-carbonated and very drinkable. Solid German pils.
