When you first smell the Red Hop Rye you'll notice an abundance of HOPPY citrus aromas from our dry hopping. As you take your first sip you'll notice the spicy RYE mixed with hops BALANCED by a MALTY backbone from American caramel and HONEY malts. This give the Red Hop Rye it's dark red color. This is a great example of an American hybrid of beer, a Red Rye IPA.

Enjoy Red Hop Rye while relaxing after work or with a dish as bold and flavorful as this beer.

Pairings include: BBQ, steak, burgers, brats, cheddar cheese, and spicy foods.

Can into a tulip.

L: Bright mahogany with 1+ finger of medium density white head that had moderate retention and left spotted lacing.

S: Pine forward with noticeable caramel malt, and floral undertones.

T: Very balanced and follows the nose, though the floral seems a bit more prominent and there's added breadiness. Finishes with moderate bitterness that lingers on the palate a bit. Wanted more spiciness from the rye.

F: Medium bodied with medium-high carbonation, some tingling of the tongue most likely from the carbonation and not the rye.

O: A solid hoppy red that I'd definitely have again, but it's definitely not in the same tier as MT Aurora and Founders Red's Rye for my palate.

Pours a red amber color with a full creamy tan head. Smells like a you would expect a beer called red Hop rye to taste. Creamy medium to full feel. Quite enjoyable

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a tulip glass. The appearance is a slightly murky reddish color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is well full of rye and some malt. The taste is full on rye with some grain and caramel. an excellent beer.
