A classic Imperial Pastry Stout brewed with marshmallow. Dark chocolate and roasty flavors pairing with the sticky sweet sugar and vanilla flavors of marshmallow to remind you of roasting marshmallows over an open fire.

Pours an effervescent mahogany with one finger of mocha colored head. Some head retention & lacing
S: Cocoa, marshmallow, cola notes
T: Roastyness, marshmallow, smokey notes, cocoa & dryness up front. Cocoa, marshmallow, oakyness/dryness as this beer warms up, some warming woody, notes that make me think rum, certainly molasses there as well. Finishes with a little warming dark rum & coke twang, vanilla & some dark chocolate
MF: Chewy, low but noticeable carbonation, fairly sticky on the lips, warming
A sipper to be sure, would be great to drink around the fire this time of year

Presentation: 1 pt .9 fl oz brown bottle with the bottling date on the back label. Served in a tulip shaped tumbler.
Appearance: The fluffy, tan colored, two and a half finger head stays around for a while and leaves behind a thin foam layer and a lot of lacing that covers the entire glass. It's a deep, rich black color with some very dark brown showing up on the edges.
Smell: It's a beautiful aroma of milk chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla and caramelized brown sugar. There's a touch of coffee in there and some fig as well in the background.
Taste: There's milk chocolate, vanilla and latte flavors at first. The marshmallow is very present too but it's not overpowering. There's some slight bitterness to balance things out of cocoa powder and roasted malts.
Mouthfeel: It's thick, rich, velvety smooth and it never gets cloying which is great. Carbonation is low.
Overall: A wonderful beer with an awesome flavor, superb texture and it looks absolutely beautiful to boot.

Purchased in oct 2020. What an amazing beer. Tastes like hot cocoa with marshmallows. Very creamy but light mouth feel. No hint of booze for a 13.1% beer is impressive. Overall solid stout. Looking forward to trying others in the future

2019 batch.
Tan head. Black color.
Cinnamon and marshmallow. Chocolate. Cocoa. Fudge. Some vanilla. Lightly toasted malts. Caramel.
Very surprised with how much cinnamon shows. I didn’t know this was made with cinnamon? Maybe it’s not?

Black with a garnet hue. Three fingers of dark mocha head that bubble away fairly quickly, leaving a wisp and very solid lacing for the ABV.
Rich dark cocoa, loads of marshmallow, some light cherry-and-berry and a whiff of alcohol in the nose. Very lush, sweet and dessert-like.
Tons of marshmallow again in the taste. High quality chocolate ganache and alcohol burn in the finish. There’s just a hint of vinous fruit and the slightest ghost of pecan or peanut brittle, both of which add some nice complexity.
Medium bodied and oily feeling with modest carbonation.
Dessert in a glass. The chocolate is excellent and the marshmallow is intense. Again, the fruit element from the dark malts is quite pleasant, too. Very well crafted.

500ml bottle, 2020 batch.
Pours almost opaque black with minimal head or retention. Strong burnt sugar in the nose with chocolate and booze. On the fuller side of medium bodied with a sticky mouthfeel. A bit on the thin side. Vanilla, burnt sugar, booze, and chocolate on the palate. Finishes very sweet with lingering alcohol and sugar. No graham cracker to be found at all.
