Straw yellow colored and very hazy in complexion. There's a quarter inch of eggshell white resting on top. Heavy lacing. I smell earthy, peppery Belgian saison yeast and delicate light grains. I taste lemon notes and peppery earthy saison yeast and light grain. The yeast is powerful tasting and puts things a bit out of balance. The mouth is crisp, smooth, and quaffable.

On tap. Pours a hazy, light orange with moderate white head. Good Belgian lacing throughout. Very good Saison, true to the style in all ways. Hints of honey, fruit and a bit of spice as well. Very well balanced, crisp at the end with lingering finish. Great offering from an upstart StL micro - Prost!
