Picked up a bottle at Total Wine. If you're in VA, they got a direct shipment from the brewery and are the only suppliers locally and carry all year-round styles.
The beer is a browny, orange color. It has a nice laced head that keeps throughout. It smells kind of sweet and floral.
There is an initial dry taste followed by a malt forward sensation that is immediately followed again by a bitter dryness. This is a rather tasty brew. It is very well balanced for the style. It definitely has the hop kick to make in an IPA but it's not overwhelming, it's not too fruity, and it masks the 6.3% ABV very well. There is a bit of a buttery sensation, along with a very full mouthfeel.
This is a massively drinkable IPA. It's not "too" anything which is a nice change from what everyone else is doing that usually exploits one characteristic of style.
Well done.

Draft: Poured a clear golden color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of citrus notes with some malt notes perceptible. Taste is also a mix of citrus hops notes with some light bitterness and some malt notes also perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nothing earth shattering but enjoyable west coast style IPA.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. This apricot-colored, minimally hazy beer has above-average carbonation, with persistent tiny bubbles arising from the bottom of the glass. There is chunky sediment which wafts and circulates throughout the volume. Above-average, foamy head leaves lacing on the glass.
It has a smooth, balanced taste, with a suggestion of pineapple. Average hop prominence, without any offensive bitter bite. Basic barley malt taste, perhaps slightly less roasted than average. Bottom line: a well-balanced, relatively easy-to-drink IPA.

On tap. Poured a clear golden-orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of pine, citrus and roasted caramel malt. Sweet citrus up front with a toasted caramel backbone. Nice piney bitterness.
