Stopped by the Pike the other night for the first time, and had a really great time.
The whole place is absolutely decked out in beer memorabilia; it reminded me of someone's granddad's basement man-cave. We were there on a Friday night, so the place was fairly busy and had a great, convivial atmosphere.
As always, the beer was great. In the bar there is no table service; you have to go up and order your food and drinks and then take them back to your table (though they will deliver the food once it is prepared). Food and beer prices are what I expect to pay in the middle of the city
I was impressed by their food and drinks menu: almost all the food, wine and booze are Pacific Northwest-produced, and they have several guest taps for beer. In addition to their taps, they have a decent selection of bottles from Germany and Belgium, including a very decent selection of Trappist beers.
Overall, I look forward to going back.
