Clear, reddish amber color, vast, creamy, long-lasting head, looking good. Leaving lace.
Beautiful aromatics, pithy and potent. Tropical fruits with a dose of citric. Twist of lime meets grapefruit and mango. A little spicy, a little piney.
In the mouth, more of that deliciousness. Big time hop bitterness, with sweet malt swiftly behind. Fierce hop attacks spreads through the palate, leaving deliciousness in it's wake. Strong flavors, strong alcohol content, that goes just a bit beyond. I like this kind of DIPA. Isn't the smoothest, may not be the bitterest, but damn, is it interesting. And so tasty.
I like this one. Once again, I'm reminded to remember to visit these guys a little more often.

No...no...no.....I do not like the Twofold DIPA. It was way too sweet for me. The bartender was telling me that this beer changes over time from tapping the keg until it finishes....so I'm not sure were the beer I had was on the timeline....but no thanks. The scent was a sweet aroma with ripe fruit. The mouthfeel was medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall....I did not like it.

L: Pours brilliant tea tinted amber with a light reddish tint under a persistent, clingy 2” cream colored foam column that slowly descends. S: Spicy, grassy hop aromas with a light sweetness and traces of melon. T: A big malt caramel entrance quickly followed by big assertive hop bitterness and flavor. Primarily stone fruit and melon. Malt presence is medium. F: Creamy, medium to medium full body. Feels lighter than the flavors would suggest. Carbonation is medium. O: A big full flavored double IPA that is easy to drink.
