On-tap at Destihl Bloomington/Normal. Poured into taster.

A - Pours a reddish/brown color, cream-colored head, thin collar, wisps on top.

S - A nice mix of hops, oak, bourbon, and burnt sugars. The sweetness and bitterness are balanced nicely and very enjoyable.

T - As with the nose, the sweetness of the bourbon and malts mix well with the bitter hops. The oak notes are subtle are really overshadowed by the bourbon and hops. The Heaven Hill barrels really did the trick on this one.

M - Medium, nice soft carbonation, creamy oak finish with some sweetness.

O - Really enjoyable and very dangerous...I think this one clocked in at around 10%, but I'm not 100% sure. Would love to have again, but not sure how long this one lasted at Destihl. (750 characters)
