Look: Deep mahogany color, light brown head, sediment
Smell: Mostly pine hops, some lemon citrus and grass
Taste: Follows nose, adding some slightly sweet toasted malt and caramel. Bitter hop finish. Fairly one-dimensional.
Feel: Moderately high carbonation, light to medium body
Overall: It's okay. Not something I'm likely to get again.

I bought this on as part of a mixed 6 pack in Princeton, WI. I love that so many stores are doing this now!
Poured into a pint glass, the beer is an opaque dark red with a thick beige head. It has great lacing.
It has an aroma of pine resin and lightly roasted malts. It’s inviting.
Lots of caramel and toasted malts with just a dose of pine and citrus bitterness. It is not dated, so this one could be older as I was expecting some more hops. Tastes a little earthy late which also could be a sign of a “mature” beer.
The mouth is thick and coating, just like I would hope my IPAs to be.
Not a bad beer, more like a hoppy amber. I like this one enough to try it again and hopefully get some idea of the age of the beer. If it warrants, I will rerate it.

Excessively caramel flavors mingle with the grassy earthy hops to create a rather unpleasant combination of flavor (in my opinion). To sweet, and don't really like the hop combination. Well made, but not a real IPA.

Nothing deceiving about its hazy copper red color and ok head. Very slight hop/malt aroma. Those qualities come out a little more in flavor along with some sweet, roast, and carbonic tang. Nothing remarkable. Drinkable.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden color with amber highlights and a small, tan head of foam. It smelled malty and piney with subtle citrus notes. Rich and malty with sweet caramel and a mild bitterness.

L - Moderately dark amber. Appears clear. Short but persistent off white head.
S - Strong grassy hops is most apparent character. Also some medium roasted malts - a little light toast.
T - More balanced than I expected from the aroma. Also a little unusual. Sweet toasty caramel malts and mainly citrusy hops. A hint of resin.
