Poured deep red/brown in color. half inch of tan head that falls away to a skim coat.
Smells of sweet roasted malt with a hint of coconut
Tastes pretty much as is smalls. Sweet and malty with slight fruitiness. A bit dry on the finish. Not complex of course but a tasty brew indeed.
Mouthfeel is Medium in body, the beer isn't as smooth as I'd like as far as the carbonation goes. The Dark German lagers that I've had are smoother.
Overall an easy drinking dark lager. Would definitely drink again though wouldn't go too far out of my way to purchase.

Capital Dark pours a dark brownish color with a small lacing head. There is a malty and yeasty aroma. The taste is much of the same, good yeasty flavors, with a good solid malty backbone. Good body, nice flavors, a bit on the watery side. Overall its a nice dunkel watery, but enjoyable.
