By the numbers, this brew is just above average. Colour is a very pretty deep golden but the head is light.
Aroma is grainy.
The body is medium and the carbonation is also light.
The taste has a mild hoppiness to start and finishes the same.
Does have a mouthcoating problem that needs to be addressed.
Ho-hum

Pours to a deep golden color with a white heat that diminishes. The aroma is sweet, fruity and grainy. The flavor has a sweet maltiness, and a grainy flavor. It also has a bit of spicy hop flavor. This is a light bodied beer, smooth and easy drinking, with just a slight hop bitterness. Very tasty.

This would be the perfect beer for the pool party where you want something good AND easy drinking...AND one the Bud drinkers can handle....a tasty lager that tastes like a lighter Helles style...it is a slightly hazy golden in color....the nose is grainy malts...body is light but not overthin...about right for a lager...I rate the drinkability high because this is an easy drinking lager that has some real nice sweet maltiness to it....for a lager this is tasty..Just a quick twang of spicy hops on the very long finish...other than that this is all sweet malt....a very enjoyable lager I would recommend as a great lawnmower beer..

Appearance; a lovely, peachy color, with a short and swift white head. aroma: clean, with moments of weetness, and citrus, with hints of fruits, peach, and others.
Nice light, but playful, texture. Very smooth, with terrific taste. Body is light, and breezy.
Sweet and tangy taste, much appreciated. Light and tastyhop drizzle.
This would belong to my short and elite go-to lager list!

Pours out crystal clear light amber and has an ivory head of 2 fingers. The head does not last and there is no lacing. The nose is very light and has a malt sense. The flavor is of malt with some nice balancing hops to act as a companion; there is also some light graininess. The feel is medium and there is a crisp finish. Light aftertaste lingers, but is not objectionable. Nice lager from Capital.

Peachy-gold hue, translucent, a healthy white head (a finger plus), soapy retention, decent spotty lace. The nose has the typical qualities of a Helles: malty, bready, faint grassy-hay… inviting. Sweet, malty, bready palate… well-placed hops bitterness, sweet grassy notes. The flavors are very complementary, splendidly brewed. Medium-light body, somewhat thin, not watery though; the finish is crisp, abrupt, clean, some lingering sweetness... these aspects of the beer are lacking. Indeed this beer will not “blow your mind” but it is highly drinkable (session beer material) and worth a try.

Pours a very clear deep gold with a foamy soft white head that lingers until about the glass is half gone, Generous carbonation on first pour, then fades swiftly.

The aroma is not a true continental malt aroma, more grainy and slightly bready, with very little hop presence.

The taste is dry and mellow malt notes, with little to no hop bite noticeable. It is a very clean tasting beer. Nothing spectacular, but has more character than many American lagers.

Poured a clear dark golden color with a foamy white head. Aroma consisted of malt and a slight floral sweetnees. Somewhat thin body. Carbonation lends way to a creamy mouthfeel. Sweet malt middle with a dry lightly hopped finish. Floral hoppiness of the taste really didn't appeal that much to me on this one. Not a bad offering from Capital, but nothing too spectacular either.

Perfectly clear golden bodied with a whispy white head that quickly whittles its way to nothing.
Doughy aroma. With notes of sweet bread, backyard, honey and tea.
Taste is simple yet well-structured. Begins with honey-draped sourdough bread. Turns more doughy towards the midsection. Hints of grass and hay enter. Alternately very sweet and fairly dry. Rides out with a continuing honey presence and more grass and tea colorings from the hops.
Light bodied refresher. A good one to throw at macro-swillers yet stay pleased yourself.
As far as domestic helles go, this plays second fiddle to Great Lakes' Locktender...but that is nothing to be ashamed of.
No frills here, but quality nonetheless.

I remember picking this one up thinking "Great, another Lager". I was pleasantly surprised that this beer had a nice hops presence and a decent aftertaste. According to the description it is a Helles, which makes more sense. Why not call it a Helles if it tastes like one? Either way, it is a better than average Lager if that is what they are calling it.

Clear golden in hue, w/ trace chill haze. Dense, well retained porcelain white head leaves sparse lace. Smooth, sweet, bready grain in aroma, with mellow toasty Vienna malt, and a leafy, spicy hop nose reminescent of green tea and freshly cut grass. Very appealing aromawise. Mild hop bitterness is perceived at first, then is followed by dry, cracker like grain and light mineral notes. The malt character then widens and becomes lightly buttery towards the middle, and is subsequently contrasted by a herbal, chlorophyll like hop flavor. Light in body, with an unfortunately thin mouthfeel that's a notch above watery. Finishes w/ a snap of residual sweetness but otherwise dry. Bavarian Lager has all the components of a fine Helles, but like other Capital brews, is somewhat understated and lacks sufficient body. That being said, this brew exhibits good drinkability and since microbrewed Helles are tough to find, this is certainly worth checking out.

This brew pours a nice bright orange color with a fleeting head. The aroma is of sweet malt as if never fermented and in the boil. A light slightly sweet malt flavor ensues with a latent bready character and crisp lager finish. The body is light, but not watery and the mildly hopped finish is clean. This is a beer anyone would enjoy no matter his beer tastes.

The beer pured a gold color and formed a nice white foamy head that left some nice lace. An arom of hoops and citrus with a flavor of hops. The finish was pretty light. As helles styles go, I think this one is a bit weak.

Pours light golden with a big frothy white head that retains nicely. Very nice flowery hop boquet. A firm maltiness present in the taste. But also nice hop accents. Very smooth. Medium in body. Very easy drinking. Look up "session beer" in the dictionary and there's probably a picture of this one.

Darker gold color. Carbonation noticeable. Malty beginning with slight hops kicking in secondarily. Starts subtle, gets bigger, finishes lower in tone. Some similarities to Hacker-Pschor Munich Edelhell but a little more subdued and maybe more drinkable.
