look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

Appearance: Pours a perfectly clear, medium gold with lots of bubbles rising to the surface. It's off-white head starts out small and stays that way, leaving a bit of lace down the side of the glass.

Smell: The aroma is malty and bready, with a touch of herbal hops. A bit on the faint side, but very clean.

Taste: Sharp and clean, with a firm hop bitterness and herbal, citric flavor. The malts are more subdued in this brew, but still come across as bready and faintly sweet. Finishes quickly with a moderate bitterness, along with a sweet bready maltiness.

Mouthfeel: Highly carbonated, with a crisp dryness. This brew could use a bit more body, but it's still pretty good.

Drinkability: Pretty good for what it is. This is a bit more tame than most German pilsners, as it posesses less bitterness and hop flavor. If they would beef it up a notch or two, this would be a great beer.

Pours slightly hazed golden yellow with a thin head that soon becomes a thin wisp. Little lacing sticks.

The smell is of mild grain with soft floral notes.

The taste is of honey and grainy sweetness that leads to a soft, balancing floral dryness in the finish.

It is smooth and pretty crisp.

A nice, basic pils here.

A bottle that has been sitting in my cellar for awhile but it's my only one so I'm going to count it.

A-Poured into a pint glass this brew is light golden in color with a slight haze noticed. A thin finger of head quickly recedes to a thin film with some nice lacing on the glass.

S-Pilsener malt with a flowery hop aroma with a hint of fruitiness.

T-Big clean barley malt with a flowery, fruity finish. Low bitterness. Sweeter finish than most.

M-Lower prickly carbonation than most pilseners, which helps give a quick finish with low bitterness.

O-A tasty easy to drink pils. I like the low carbonation which makes for a less crisp, low bitter finish. The little bit of fruitiness although not normal for the style gives a nice edge to this beer. Unfortunately I think this beer had been sitting in my cellar for probably 1.5 years so that may have affected it. However, it doesn't have done so in a bad way with oxidation or DMS enhancement. I'll have to compare with a fresh one to see if indeed this beer has changed much.
