On tap at The Pine Box.
Lovely golden color, lots of foam, good bubbles. Great looking.
Aroma/taste are of Belgian yeasts, a little fruity, an excellent example of a Belgian Pale (or a saison -- I don't draw a fine distinction between these beers). But, whoa, then that wine barrel influence kicks in towards the end, and you know this is a beer that's not in the least ordinary. Great combination of flavors, with refreshing mouthfeel.
Spectacular example of the craft of those guys at Holy Mountain.

Review #200. A beautiful blend of wild ale characteristics and a Belgian pale ale. Green apple and orange taper into dry, peppery bread crust. Clean and balanced.

Excessive carbonation is the one detraction here. After pouring back and forth from glass to glass and letting it settle a bit, this became a better beer; tighter bubbles on the remaining head, smoother mouthfeel. Big white wine barrel notes and brett aromatics. Some stone fruit and white grape come out as it warms. Peppery and hoppy backnote. Finishes dry.

On tap at Holy Mountain
Pours a light golden color with solid head. Smells like a white wine. Taste is like a saison, can taste the Brett, wine barrel characteristics come in aftertaste. Overall very solid beer

On tap at the recent Bailey's barrel aged anniversary party.
Pretty tasty beer, no doubt, though to my jade palate, I thought it a light, watered down version of the goat (which I thought was superior). Still, the beer had some nice barrel aging (wine) and brett characteristics, the beer was very easy to drink. The finish was dry, light and slightly hoppy bitter. Nice beer.
