To paint a visual picture if what this beer smells and tastes like: dry, hairy, gritty, just-washed, tart apricot skin. None of the flesh or the pulp, just the hairy skin.
Now that I think about it, the oak-aging is probably what added the gritty dirty elements to the beer; whatever it is, Holy Mountain knocked it out of the park and I'm too drunk to elaborate much further. Oh, did I mention this beer was tart?
Medium-light bodied, super crisp and refreshing. Lively yet non-intrusive carbonation. If only this weren't exclusively in-house.

This one pours a brilliantly vivid orange color- it looks like a lot of apricot was used here. The person who poured the end of the bottle got full and huge chunks of apricot/yeast. This is pretty wild looking.
This smells like rich and juicy sour apricot, fruit skin, light acidity, and a touch of Brett.
This is absolutely outstanding. The apricot flavor is so pure and awesome, a little bit sweet and juicy, and very pleasantly sour, with a light kiss of leathery Brett funk, solid acidity, sour apricot skin, and oak. This is insanely satisfying.
This is light bodied, juicy and surprisingly clean, with a good level of carbonation.
This is a complete stunner. One of the best apricot beers I've ever had.

A 750ml bottle at Holy Mountain Brewing, Batch 2, 2017 vintage. Poured into a mini snifter.
Appearance: A cloudy golden orange colour with a thin white head that dissipates quickly and leaves sparse to no lacing.
Aroma: Apricot, peach, canned peach juice and light tartness.
Taste: Tart, sour peach and apricot, with hints of oak.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A nice and refreshing tart sour ale with nice peach and apricot fruitiness.

Light yellow, vibrant tone but hazy, frothy head that reemerges with every swirl. Aroma is soft stone fruit, yogurt, wheat germ, light oak, background brett aromatics. Flavor is full and soft, peach skin and apricot, barrel and brett are balanced components not jumping to the forefront but remaining in balance. Juicy, a hint of salinity maybe. Blind could pass for one of the better SARA or Casey offerings.

A: Average cloudy golden ale nothing too eye catching.
S: a little wild funk, with a splash of fresh fruit, apricot comes through a little bit of pair. Slight earthy woody notes with and a splash of hops.
T: Tart and sweet, back notes finish with apricot. Has a wild ale tendency on the pallet with a pinch of the brett sourness.
F: bright, poppy, and well rounded. Not too carbonated. Smooth for a sour ale.
O: A well crafted sour ale with great notes of bourbon and apricots! Truly enjoyable and not too overwhelming. A great sour for those on the fence about sours.
