Presentation: Beautiful vase like 11.2oz. bottle. Bottle on 14.05.2003, best before 14.05.2008. 6.9% ABV.
Appearance: surprisingly clear. Amber orange color with a large white head. Excellent head formation, retention, and lacing.
Smell: Definitely lambic like smell. Acidic with a lot of horse blanket and bardyardy funk, yet in the background there is a sweet malt aroma with a hint of citrus.
Taste: Highly carbonated. Thick malty body, lightly sweet, very lightly phenol, some Belgian funk, and a light earthy hop bitterness with a very slight acidic twang in the finish. Its actually a little on the bland side considering how much is going on.
Notes: Aroma is very unique, that brettanomyces really gives it a complexity. Not as sour as it smelled like it would be. Very interesting and good.
