This is an exceptional hoppy pale wheat ale.

It has a wonderful hazy golden look, not like a hefe but more hazy than say the average APWA.

The smell is also a bit more funky? These guys make a lot of funky type beers, so this isn't surprising. It works though!

I love the taste of this beer. It's what American Pale Wheat Ales should be - hop forward, with citrus elements. It has to have hops to make up for not using a german hefe yeast.

It's a very well balanced beer. Probably my favorite from CSB. Way to go!

Tap at the brewery

A - Poured hazy golden color with an off-white head of thick long-lasting, foam.

S - A strong wheat aroma. There was a touch of yeasty notes, too.

T - It tasted of grasses and wheat malt.

M - It was crisp and smooth.

O - This is a nice brew but my least favorite from my visit.
