Bleeding across the dimensional constraints of multiple style boundaries, Alternate World fuses the structure of an Old World gose with the aromatics of the modern New World hoppy ale. Brewed with sea salt, soured with our house lactobacillus culture, and fermented with our house Brettanomyces culture, Alternate World is finally saturated with Falconer’s Flight, Centennial and Cascade dry-hops, creating a delicious harmony of other-worldly funky citrus.

A: The beer is slightly hazy light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sourness are present in the nose along with faint hints of citrus from the hops.
T: The taste starts off a little sour and salty and has some hints of citrus towards the back end of the taste.
M: It feels light-bodied and slightly tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer still tastes like a gose and the dry hopping serves to add some slight complexities to the smell and taste without overpowering the underlying beer. It is very easy to drink and has some refreshing qualities.

Appearance: Quite the gusher, it took me about five minutes to carefully pour the honey colored
Smell: Textbook lacto, with passion fruit, salt and funk
Taste: Lacto forward, with passion fruit flavors building; throught the middle, the funk and tart aspect builds, with the salt arriving, after the swallow; the hops are buried, underneath the sour tones but there are there in the finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with bouyant carbonation
Overall: A treat to drink - wish it wasn't such a gusher
Thanks, AaronF, for the opportunity

Bottle purchased at The Beer Belly in Albany, NY.
This one pours really foamy- it takes a long time settle down. Once it settles, there's a beautiful foamy and sticky looking head, with a small amount of lacing.
Smells like clean Lactobacillus souring, tart lemon, bitter pine, tart grapefruit, sour orange peel, and grassiness.
This is super delicious. It's got a pleasantly clean sourness to it, lemony and minerally, with a slight funk, tart grapefruit and orange, and a nice bitterness that helps keep the sourness in check. This is just incredibly well crafted.
This is light bodied, airy and fluffy in the mouthfeel, with a high level of carbonation.
Kent Falls does really great stuff, and this is no exception.
