Appearance: An attractive cascade dancing through the darkness to coalesce into a half inch of heavy mocha foam. A good start!

Smell: Cocoa powder, intertwined with freshly ground coffee, but then some kind of lactic acidity that just didn't do it for me, it reeked of Lacto infection.

Taste: Mostly coffee and ground nuts, sustained roasted/burnt flavor and grainy aftertaste, but once again, something was off in the center. I really liked this Beer on my last visit, now I think it was the one I liked the least.

a: nearly black in color with they typically thick, well-retained nitro tap head

s: pretty simple stuff - roasted barley with only a hint of acridity, some nondescript coffee or cocoa, mostly smooth, very mild earthy hop profile

m: smooth and creamy in keeping with what's expected from the serving style

t: smooth roasted barley, perhaps some cocoa bean, subtle hop component, mild sugars at first but turning mostly dry in the finish

d: very easy, just a simple and drinkable dry stout, unfortunately muted by the nitrogen

Nitro-pushed stout. The spectacular shaker show with bubbles moving up and mostly down like a spectacular chocolate brown cascade during a good minute. It stabilizes almost black with a foamy nitro thin-bubbled beige head. Aroma is that of a simple coffee stout with possibly a sweeter note closing to caramel. In mouth, coffee becomes more obvious in a milky way. Finish is shy roastiness and rather short overall for a stout and leaves some to be desired. Body is very creamy (like melting ice cream), but nonetheless a bit thin and watery for a stout . It makes for a quaffable offering.

A-Deep black/brown with a dense mocha head. Wonderful retention and lacing.

S-Somewhat light roasty malt and a bit of chocolate.

T-Roasted malt and chocolate flavours with a surprising hop kick in the secondary. Overall sweet but a bit of dryness does sneak in at the end.

M-Medium-light body with that wonderful nitro fullness.

D-A nice, light, flavourful session stout. Easily my favorite beer I tried at this new to me pub.

Inky black with a super dense, light brown head about 3/4" thick that looked like chocolate mousse. Excellent retention and lacing all the way through the pint. The aroma is all malt, roast and chocolate... just a bit muted due to the nitro. Roasted and chocolate flavours to start, followed by a bit of earthy/grassy hops at the midpoint. Finishes a little on the dry side, but still with plenty of sweetness. Medium/light body and low carbonation, great for a session. A very nice stout, worth stopping in for.

Another lovely Quebec brewed stout. This beer is an opaque black colour with a nice tan head that lasts for quite a bit, leaving some minimal lacing on my glass. The aroma was roasty, lactic, and chocolatey with some coffee notes in there as well. The taste was roasty up front with some chocolate/coffee flavors in the middle and a lovely lactic finish. The mouthfeel was creamy and oh-so-smooth and the drinkability was good as well! Awesome stuff!
