Laid back bar, with a really solid craft beer list and wait staff that know the beer. No food, but can order food to have it delivered here. When I was there I saw breweries that I don't think I'd seen anywhere else.

Love this place. Very cozy with a somewhat rustic/industrial decor. Seating is limited to about 15 for the time being, but they're currently in the process of expanding into the space next door.
Only about 16 beers on tap at any given time, but great variety in styles and the taps rotate in and out quickly. Friendly bartenders and patrons that love to talk beer. Growler fills are available on most of what's on tap.
Get there early if you can, since space fills up quickly. Very much worth the trip though.

In the interest of complete transparency, my review of this place use to be much higher. When the bar opened it was a great shop dedicated to interesting craft brews and conversation of said brews. Unfortunately, as happens all to often, the longer the bar has been open the more monetary focused it has become. The beers here are severed in smaller portions and priced higher than nearly any place in Milwaukee (KBS should not be $12 for a 10 oz pour), and you can sometimes buy an entire 4 or 6 pack of beer for the less than you'll pay for a full pour of that same beer at Draft & Vessel. The bar was expanded into a place next door early in the summer 2016, but the work has not been finished since the expansion allowed people on the second side (seriously, you can see the unfinished drywall throughout the bar). While it was once a craft beer bar that carried rare and interesting beers, now the place serves wine and carries popular garbage such as Leinenkugals, etc...
A year ago, I loved this place. Now, I may never step foot in there again.

A great addition to the Milwaukee beer scene. Finally we don't have to drive to Bay View!

Small, cozy craft beer-only bar and growler fill station. Capacity is 15-20. Great ambiance/design. Solid bartending, excellent beer knowledge, and good clientele.
Definitely neither a dive bar or a corporate-feeling craft beer outfit. The kind of place you could take your buddy, your wife, or your parents.
Prices are in line with what you'd pay at most bars around Milwaukee. Beer selection is varied, as good as you can get with 15 taps.
No food, but I think you can bring food in with you. Gets crowded on weekend nights.
