12 oz can from State Line. Medium golden, lightly hazy, small tight head, streaky lacing. Aroma is rye bread with light fruity notes. Taste brings a light hop tingle to the palate, flavors are rye bread and light sweetness. Full bodied.

So, this Baltimore brewer starts off with a thick and resilient head and translucent copper body. The nose is grassy and herbal hops with a tropical fruit note. Definitely similar in the taste, with a definite citrus and medicinal edge to the profile. I do like thick and resinous texture, which gives the aftertaste some staying power. Definitely grew on me, I continue to look to try more from these guys.

The smoothest IPA I think I've had. Nice amber color to it, somewhat malty aroma with bitter hops and peppery notes from the rye. Medium body, but because it's so smooth makes it very easy to drink.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a copper color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of rye, malts. Taste is the same as the aroma, hops make their presence felt, mild bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Appearance:
Murky, dandelion yellow with a full two fingers of super sudsy white bubbles on top. Elongated, webbed lacing with good retention.

Bouquet:
Wheaty malts, peppery rye, and herbal hops. Complex and exciting? No. But it IS what they promised you. Some beers can’t even be trusted to do that much.

Feel:
Undeniably medium bodied. Carbonation trickles past the tongue in rye rivulets. What caught me by surprise is its actually a little sweet.

Taste:
A pantomime of the bouquet, only here the rye and malts are smashed together so tightly they nearly form a new flavor: “Ralts.” No, that’s dumb. “Mye?” Rye + Malts = ??? Hmm… anyway, the hops are almost nowhere to be found in the face of that malt/rye hybrid flavor, found only in fleeting glimpses during the aftertaste. In the rare moments when you do catch them, you’ll experience bright, herbal hoppiness.

Overall:
Bolder would be better but this is more than fine.

12 ounce can poured into a tumbler pint glass.

Pouring slightly hazy and amber with steadily rising bubbles, it is capped with just under two fingers of soapy, off-white foam. The nose isn't very strong but is rather nice, featuring rye, spice and light lemon citrus. Starting low to medium sweet the rye , bread and light caramel flavors fade to a more dry, mild peel bitterness for the finish. Carbonation is moderate and the medium-full body is soft and creamy smooth.

Good flavor and a great feel, very enjoyable glass of beer.
