served into a tumbler.

A: dark amber orange to a near tinge of brown. moderate carbonation it seems and an off white head about 1cm thick which after about 2 minutes fell leaving a reasonably thick lacing.

S: nose is there but not extremely overwhelming leaving traces of pear and passion fruit. not a huge amount happening on the nose.

T: now this i like.. seems what would be half way between light to medium bodied with quite a bit of fizz occurring. not hugely hoppy in any way and with that comes very little bitterness but does seem to be quite a well balanced beer. if i were to compare this to anything its like stone & wood - pacific ale, not just by the name, but better, a little less bitter but just session-able and seems to offer more in terms of pallet flavour. a tinge of a sourness presents itself sneaking in as the taste dies. this may just become my after work lazy beer!

M: quite light through the mouth, no over-exceeding characteristics from this beer, carbonation is present right. through from front to back pallet.

O: i would say one of the easier beers ive had with a light body that i have actually enjoyed. really enjoyed the flavour in this one and its pleasant lingering makes me want to drink more of it. i tend to think of this beer as something that you drink, say oh wow this is pretty decent, but dont rave.. its a smash down when ever you want it and arnt disapointed.

Amber-tinged gold with puffy white head. Caramel and candy corn nose with big resin and floral notes.
Some toast and sour red berry that mellows into dough and peaches, some vegetal notes, then orange marmalade and grapefruit rind hops.
Ginger candy end and lingering bitterness. Medium, lots of chew, oily.

Great notes, and lots of good hops (Ahtanum, a Cascade knockoff that's in SN Celebration) but something doesn't gel. There's a vague homebrew tang about it, and maybe a touch too much malt. A good beer that could've been great.

Having said that, much rounder and more integrated at cellar temp than cold, probably to the point of a +.5% for taste.

Pours hazy amber with a large, quickly fading head.
Nose shows lots of malt, honey and caramel. Some soft fruity hops are also present, but the malt it what really shines through.
Flavours follow suit with grassy hops also joining the fray. Finishes with a very mild bitterness.
Carbonation is a little high.

Pours a pale gold colour with modest white head that sinks to a small film, with nice trails of lace left behind. Steady but small carbonation. Looks alright, would like more head.

Smells extremely fruity and tangy. Plenty of citric hop, giving actual zesty notes with lemon sherbet and pineapple; slight licorice note as well. Pretty damned nice, but I feel it might need something to ground it, as it's very light at present.

Taste is a bit weak, unfortunately. Lots of those citrus esters but it's lacking malt, I feel. Has decent hop notes, quite tangy and fairly nicely bitter with lemon zest and some piney notes, plus some flaxy character as well. Quite dry at the back, with a bitter citric note and the finish is nice enough but a bit short. Decent but lacking in a few places, needs more oomph to drive the flavours home.

Full enough mouthfeel, not a lot of texture though and yet leaves quite dry. A bit meh.

Yeah, I could throw a few of these back by a summer pool; I just feel like it could quite easily up the hops and malt and the alcohol, and I'd drink it just as happily.

Pours a bright and very light yellow colour, slightly hazed, but mostly translucent. Head is fine and white, and it leaves good lacing. Lots of fine carbonation. Looks pretty good overall.

Nose is initially redolent with West Coast American hops, although it doesn't have an intense pungent sharpness. Some lemon citrus character with a little peach, mixed in with more crushed organic characters: leaf, heather and a little honey. Very interesting.

Taste is surprisingly light, with a bit of nutty malt, minimal bitterness, and a twang of light, sweet honey on the back, that almost lends a flowery organic character to it. Feel is very smooth, although the carbonation, while not so present on the palate itself, does get a little bloating after a while.

Nice enough beer, and very easy drinking. The pleasant nutty bitterness on the palate doesn't make it that interesting, but really makes for pleasant drinking.

This brew pours a semi see through light golden yellow hue with decent carbonation that leaves behind a creamy two finger head that stays and leaves heaps of clingy lacing, the aromas are liquorice, pine resin coated hops and some boiled candy,it has a medium bodied well carbonated mouthfeel and has tastes of stonefruit, boiled candy, very light aniseed and finishes with a floral hoppy dry bitterness that makes you want another sip, overall another brew that is easy to drink without being over complex and just lacks that wow factor.

I had this at the brewery per the bartenders suggestion.

The beer pours a light honey gold with a boring white head, light hints of peach...The aroma is light fresh hops, but too light as that all you get...The taste is super sweet on the palate, candy, light hops.

Nothing special here, too sweet for a pale, add a little hops and this could be great.

Funny that this beer is classified as "retired" on BA while I sit with a fresh glass poured at the brewpub.

Pours a very clear pale orange golden color with a 2 finger pure white head that settles into a slight film with little to no lacing. Nice but not exceptional.

Aroma is quite nice. Aroma profile is stronger than that of taste with the former defined by distinctly American hops and the latter seemingly more European and particularly English. Aroma is piney and pungent, maybe from Amarillo or Centennial, with slight undertones of fruity grapefruit.

The flavor has a fine grain background with citrusy and bitter hop profile. Overall, quite light and drinkable with definite qualities of a bittier pale ale. I think this is strongly within the American category especially considering the influence of Nørrebro.

Mouthfeel is dry and clean all around and from start to finish. Not much sweetness to this beer and finishes clean and with good bite.

A little dry but overall very drinkable.

On tap at Nørrebro Bryghus. Served in Nørrebro Bryghus IPA glass. This is the second beer that Garrett Oliver guest-brews at Nørrebro Bryghus. Dry-hopped with Amarillo, Athanum and Vanguard, this brew is based on Oliver’s own Brooklyn Scorcher. Pale golden color. Smallish head that fades quickly. Delicious, well-hopped, grapefruity aroma. The taste is dominated by juicy, grapefruity hops, too. Long, pleasant, dry finish. Superb drinkability, even on a rainy day in Copenhagen; this beer must be a revelation on a real scorcher.
